Available Town Maps
The table below lists Town Maps available for FREE download. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer to view these maps. This software is free,  and can easily be installed by clicking this icon:

IMPORTANT! Maps may take several minutes to download, depending on the file size. Please be patient, as many of these maps contain high-resolution detail. The contents of this table are continuously updated. Please check back for the latest information!

Having difficulty locating specific maps? Additional paper maps and information are listed below. For further assistance, please contact the GIS Coordinator at 508-358-3654.

1. Town Atlas (Assessor Maps)
Individual Assessor map sheets (17 in x 22 in), covering the entire town (56 plates). These maps contain parcels, streets, easements, building footprints, floodplains, frontage, land area (feet and/or acres), and other information. These maps ARE AVAILABLE ONLINE! Click here to view the atlas. Important! The Massachusetts Registry of Deeds is the only definitive source for property records. You can access the Registry of Deeds here
2. Conservation Maps
Conservation maps including  FEMA Flood Maps, Conservation Area Trail Maps, and Conservation Restrictions. For more information, please contact the Conservation Administrator at 508-358-3669.
3. Historic Maps
Original and reproductions of historic maps, dating from 1638 to the present. For more information, please contact the Historical Commission.
4. Topographic Maps
100 scale (1 in=100 ft) planimetric (horizontal position of features) and topographic (2 ft contours) maps of the town, based on aerial photography developed by the Wayland Survey Department in 1977.
5. Aerial Imagery
Aerial imagery from 1952, 1977, 1994, 2001 (Digital Color),2005 (Digital Color Infrared), and 2012 (flyover) covering the town.  Above data, plus additional satellite imagery is available on Wayland GIS. Local photography from 1938, 1968, 1975, 1976 and 2012.
6. Custom Maps
If you still cannot find a specific map, you can request custom cartography by contacting the GIS CoordinatorImportant! All custom map requests are subject to approval. The Town of Wayland is NOT responsible for fulfilling any personal mapping requests. Fees do apply, and are based upon staff scheduling, and the amount of time estimated to complete a request.
