About the Survey Department
The Wayland Survey Department was established in 1964, and provides land information and engineering services for the Town of Wayland, assisting with projects for Town Departments, boards, and committees. In addition, the Survey Department assists local residents with surveying questions they have.
Important! The Town of Wayland is NOT responsible for conducting private surveys.
Since 1994, the department has offered GIS to the local community. The Survey Department stores and maintains numerous plans (record plans, subdivisions, & street layouts) and maps (cadastral, environmental, historic, topographic, and aerial imagery). Please
visit the Survey Department office, located at 41 Cochituate Road, Wayland, MA 01778 to review archives, purchase data, or request further information.
