IT Business Systems Analyst
Under the general direction of the IT Director, assists in the strategic planning, implementation, management and training on enterprise business and non-instructional software, ensuring that all systems are meeting organizational needs. Collaborate with all departments in order to meet business requirements and ensure that consistent practices are used throughout the Town and Schools in order to maintain the integrity of the systems. Other duties and projects as assigned. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology or a related technology field. Over 4 years of experience in Business Process Management; over 2 years of business system-related experience preferred; experience in a municipal setting preferred. Project Management Professional
Certificate (PMPC) required. An additional four (4) years of related experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. 3 years of demonstrated project management leadership involving multi-discipline teams for business process applications may be substituted for the PMPC. Strong knowledge of MUNIS highly preferred. Salary range: $65,951-$87,669 with full benefits package. DPW Heavy Equipment Operator – Transfer Station PT
Performs a variety of skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled manual work associated with the maintenance, repair and operation of the Transfer Station. Minimum entrance requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent with at least three (3) years of related experience in public works of which at least 1 year required in the operation of heavy equipment. Waste management experience preferred. Licenses/Certificates: Must have and maintain a valid Class B CDL license; Class A, CDL preferred. Must have and maintain a valid Class 2B Hoisting License; 2A Hoisting License preferred. Salary range: $20.24 – 24.83/hour, 17 – 19 hours a week. Interim Recreation Director/Consultant
Wayland seeks qualified applicants for an Interim Recreation Director/Consultant to bridge a maternity leave. Working under the direction of a Recreation Commission and the Town Administrator, the primary focus of the assignment will be oversee several on-going projects; follow through on project requirements (such as permitting); prepare necessary documents for site plan approval; attend public meetings; attend Recreation Commission meetings; and oversee administrative office functions. Regular staff includes 2.5 FTEs. The assignment is approximately mid-March through mid-June. Applicable project management experience required. Flexibility in hours.
