How often do I receive a bill?

Water bills are sent out twice a year for Residential customers and four times a year for Commercial customers.


How are my water rates figured?

Water rates are based on usage.

Residential rates:

1-1500 cubic feet $50.00 minimum
1500 - 3000 cubic feet $2.80 per 100 cubic feet
3001 - 6000 cubic feet $5.60 per 100 cubic feet
6001 - 10,000 cubic feet $9.10 per 100 cubic feet
over 10,000 cubic feet $12.60 per 100 cubic feet

Commercial Rates:

0 - 750 cubic feet $25.00 minimum
751 - 1500 cubic feet $2.80 per 100 cubic feet
1501 - 3000 cubic feet $5.60 per 100 cubic feet
3001 - 5000 cubic feet $9.10 per 100 cubic feet
over 5000 cubic feet $12.60 per 100 cubic feet



What is the Capital Improvement Fee on my Bill?

The Town built a $10,000,000.00 water treatment plant in 2009.  Each water meter in town is assessed $236.00 per year as a Capital Improvement fee to pay for the treatment plant.
