Description
Supportive counseling for teenagers, parents, and families
Students (and their families) who attend school in Wayland or who live in Wayland but attend school elsewhere, are eligible for services at WYFS.  Services are tailored as needed for each individual or family.
Parent consultations around parenting issues
Consultation services, often one or two meetings long, are available for support and guidance when faced with parenting issues.  Such issues include: transition periods from one school to another, child’s behavioral issues, child’s mental health issues, divorce, etc.
Substance abuse evaluation and treatment
This service is available for both young adults and youth.
Family Therapy with individual therapy for children and teenagers
Group counseling in the schools
Referral to other mental health providers and social services
Consultation to schools, and other groups or organizations that work with youth
