HEALTH REIMBURSEMENT ARRANGEMENT (HRA) ACCOUNTS
The Town is pleased to announce that Sentinel Benefits has been awarded the contract to serve as the Third Party Administrator for Wayland's Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) accounts which become effective July 1, 2011. The HRAs are automatically available to those employees who are enrolled in one of the Town-sponsored Rate Saver Plans (RSPs).
The HRAs are designed to compensate employees for the cost of out-of-pocket co-pays associated with the RSPs. Accounts will be established in the amounts of $1,000 for employees enrolled in family RSPs and $400 for employees enrolled in individual RSPs. Mid-year enrollment amounts will be pro-rated. Sentinel will issue pre-loaded debit cards to use for co-pays for medical services, emergency room visits, in-patient and out-patient care as well as retail and mail order perscription drug purchases as identified in the RSP plan documents. Should a particular medical service not be compatible with the debit card, employees may submit to Sentinel for reimbursement.
Effective July 1st, Sentinel's Memebr Service Center will provide live customer service Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm. The customer service number is 888-762-6088. Employees will also be able to access their accounts on-line at www.sentinelgroup.com.
