S.H.I.N.E. Program: (Serving Health Information Needs of Everyone with Medicare) provides free health insurance counseling to Medicare beneficiaries and caregivers of all ages. We are fortunate to have two highly trained SHINE counselors, Kathleen Woehrling and Penny Wilson. Private consultations are available by appointment at the COA. To schedule, call (508) 358-2990.

Free Legal Clinic: Denise Yurkofsky, an elder law attorney, is available to discuss legal issues. Call the COA to schedule a free, 20 minute appointment; (508) 358-2990. Legal clinics are held in a private consultation area.

MetroWest Legal Services: Based in Framingham, this organization can help Wayland residents age 60 and older with issues concerning MassHealth, Medicare, nursing home, guardianship, elder abuse or benefits. Elders do not need to meet income guidelines. Call directly at (508) 620-1830 or visit their website.

MA Senior Legal Helpline: Provides free legal information, advice and referral services for MA senior citizens in most areas of civil law.
