The WHA was incorporated in 1970 as the public authority to
provide safe and sanitary affordable housing. The WHA provides
housing for low and moderate-income households who are otherwise
unable to obtain adequate housing. We are governed by a town elected
Board of Commissioners. The Executive Director is charged with the
day to day administration of the WHA. All funding is derived from
WHA tenant rent payments and federal subsidies.
