WHA Elderly/Handicapped Housing
 

The WHA manages two low and moderate-income elderly and handicapped housing complexes: Bent Park and Cochituate Village Apartments (CVA).
Both complexes are within walking distance for shopping, churches, and local services.  The Town offers a Dial-A-Ride transportation service.

COCHITUATE VILLAGE APARTMENTS

Located at 106 Main St., the CVA is a converted school building subsidized by the HUD. The CVA has an elevator serving 3 floors. The CVA offers a community room, laundry room, and raised garden facilities. There are 56 single bedroom units, 7 of which are barrier-free. The average apartment measures 625 sq. ft. The WHA pays for utilities except electricity. The elderly minimum age limit is 62 years of age.

BENT PARK

Bent Park is a colonial style apartment complex subsidized by the State.  Four buildings contain 56 one-bedroom units of which four are barrier free. Units include first floor and walk-up apartments. The average space is 450 Sq. Ft. Bent Park offers a community building, laundry and raised garden facilities. The WHA pays for heat, hot water and electricity. The elderly minimum age Limit is 60. Preference is given to Wayland Veterans.
