Cemeteries

The TOWN of WAYLAND DPW PARKS & CEMETERIES will be cleaning and removing ALL winter coverings (wreaths, decorations, and ornaments of any kind) from all TOWN CEMETERIES.  Also, any plant hangers, fencing, artificial borders, illegal plantings and rocks found at the grave site of all Town owned Cemeteries that are in violation of cemetery planting rules and regulations will be removed.  Please remove any of the above, or items of value you wish to save, by APRIL 1, 2022.  Should you have any questions, please contact the DPW at 508-358-3672.

Please read the Cemetery Rules and Regulations before planting items.

DPW staff maintain the cemeteries once per week.

• DPW staff will NOT maintain any plantings, urns, or plants planted/placed on lots
• If you plant an item in violation of the rules, it may be removed.
