The Massachusetts Historical Commission maintains the Massachusetts Cultural Resource Information System, or MACRIS. Although not a complete listing of all historic properties in Wayland, the search system includes information on many of Wayland's historic properties, both public and private.

Plaques for Historic Homes 

The Wayland Historical Commission issues Plaques to mark buildings of historical and architectural significance. The goal of this program is to highlight the long and varied architectural history of Wayland, and to remind residents and visitors of the town's heritage.
