What to Bring

WHAT TO BRING TO CAMP
We strongly encourage all families to LABEL ALL OF BELONGINGS WITH HIS/HER FULL NAME.
Campers should dress in active, casual, comfortable clothing that is appropriate for a variety of activities, clothes may get wet, dirty or ruined at camp!

FOR SWIMMING DAYS
Please have children ARRIVE in a swim suit.

FOR FIELD TRIP DAYS  
Please have children ARRIVE in their camp shirt. Extra camp shirts can be purchased through the registration site.

SPENDING MONEY
The Recreation Department has arranged for admission to all venues and covered the costs of all activities, and therefore spending money is not necessary; it is optional for campers over 12 years old. We cannot be responsible for lost or stolen cash, or a campers inability to calculate or wait for expected change.

CLOTHING
Wear appropriate footwear (close toed shoes)
Swim Suit, a towel, a plastic bag for wet clothes.
Extra change of dry clothes & underwear everyday.
Pack a sweatshirt on cooler days.
Pack Sunscreen and/or bug repellent (but please apply before arrival) Staff remind campers and assist them re-apply.
Please keep personal games & toys at home.
Do not bring cellphones to camp. See camp cellphone policy.

FOOD & DRINK

  • LUNCH Provide a non-perishable lunch in an insulated lunch box. We recommend but do not require peanut/allergy free lunches.
  • SNACKS (extra snacks if enrolled in Extended Day)
  • WATER BOTTLE (Label it!)
  • NOTES: Food cannot be microwaved or refrigerated. Please do not pack glass bottles or containers. Please pack utensils if the lunch will require it. Campers are not allowed to throw food away (they’ll bring it back home if they don’t like it, so you’ll know) Campers are not allowed to share food. Campers will be asked to wash hands before and after eating meals.

ALLERGIES
We recommend (but do not require) nut-free lunches. While we are sensitive to food allergies, we cannot guarantee a nut-free environment. All of our staff are CPR and First Aid trained annually, which includes Allergy Awareness and Epi-Pen training. Contact us to consult with our Camp Nurse.

WHAT NOT TO BRING
NO CELL PHONES | SCREENS 
See our screen/cellphone policy.
We recommend that your campers power down, unplug, and take what we’re certain is a well-needed break from the world of screens and electronics. Please be respectful of the usage and content limitations we have in place.
Please keep personal games & toys at home.
Please do not bring birthday cakes/cupcakes, we cannot allow outside food at camp.
