Group Day Use / Picnic Grove

Wayland Town Beach offers many day-use areas that may be reserved for both large and small groups (large groups may be required to hire additional personnel).
Most areas are accessible to people of all abilities. Please contact the Rec Office directly to find out the extent of accessibility that is available, and for more information about reservations, facilities, and fees.

*What to know about grilling 

• Stationary charcoal grills, where available, are generally first-come, first-served.
• Submit a request form in advance to reserve picnic areas
• No propoane and/or gas grills.
• When using a charcoal grill, be sure to cool and dispose of your used charcoal in a fireproof container.
• Use charcoal grills only for cooking. 
• Do not leave hot grills unattended. Supervise children at all times. 
• Swim in marked swimming areas only.
