Homeowner Foreclosure Prevention

Federal Assistance:

There are a number of programs to assist homeowners who are at risk of foreclosure and otherwise struggling with their monthly mortgage payments. The majority of these programs are administered through the U.S. Treasury Department and HUD. Read more here: Avoiding Foreclosure.

State Assistance:

The Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation has implemented a number of initiatives with the goal of keeping homeowners in their homes.
