Wayland COA Wants to Hear From Seniors

Please take the COA Survey on Transportation

Aging in Wayland - Getting AroundThe Wayland Council on Aging (COA) is conducting a survey of Wayland seniors to learn more about their transportation needs. Wayland residents 60 and over, or those who care for them, are asked to complete the survey online, or contact the COA for a paper version.

Limited public transportation in Wayland can make getting around a challenge for seniors who don't drive. Even those who are still driving may not drive to certain destinations or in bad weather or darkness. Additional transportation options can benefit non-drivers and drivers alike.

The survey asks about how seniors get around now, whether or when they use transportation services, and what barriers may be keeping them from getting where they need to go.

The Wayland COA will use the survey results to help plan transportation programs and services. The survey will be available until November 6. Contact the COA at 508-358-2990 or coa@wayland.ma.us if you have questions.
