TOWN OF WAYLAND - SELECTIVE INTERIOR DEMOLITION AT 8 ANDREW AVE 22-1065-IFB

The Town of Wayland, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids for selective interior demolition scope at the proposed Wayland Community Center/COA Building, located at 8 Andrew Ave, Wayland, MA. The scope of work includes but is not limited to, the following: • Interior demolition and disposal of all debris, framing, drywall, ductwork, piping, electrical cabling, and all other loose building materials. Upon completion of the project, only the building envelope (roof, siding, sheathing, slab) and second floor mezzanine structure should remain. Bidding procedures shall be in accordance with Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 149. Beginning August 31, 2022, complete sets of bidding documents, including bid forms, may be electronically downloaded from the Town of Wayland website at: www.wayland.ma.us/bids by selecting “22-1065-IFB SELECTIVE INTERIOR DEMOLITION AT 8 ANDREW AVE.

Sealed bids for the contract will be received at the Procurement Department, 1st Floor, Wayland Town Building, 41 Cochituate Road, Wayland, MA 01778 until September 15, 2022 at 2:30pm. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter. A pre-bid conference and site walk-through will be held at the project site (8 Andrew Ave, Wayland, MA 01778) on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 10:00 AM. No preregistration is required. Contractors are invited to meet the owner representative at the building entrance.
