A release of oil and/or hazardous materials has occurred at this location, which is a disposal site as defined by M.G.L. c. 21E, § 2 and the Massachusetts Contingency Plan, 310 CMR 40.0000. On October 5, 2022, the Town of Wayland received a petition from residents in Wayland requesting that this disposal site be designated a Public Involvement Plan site, in accordance with M.G.L. c. 21E §14(a) and 310 CMR 40.1403 (9) and 310 CMR 40.1404. As a result, a hybrid public meeting (zoom and in person) will be held at the Wayland Town Hall, 41 Cochituate Road, Wayland, MA 01778 on February 21, 2023 at 6:00 PM to present the draft Release Abatement Measure (RAM) Plan, to solicit public comment on the draft RAM Plan, and to provide information about disposal site conditions. Zoom link for the meeting may be obtained on Town of Wayland’s website. Copies of the draft RAM Plan will be made available at the meeting.
