Public Ceremonies Committee

Purpose:

The Public Ceremonies Committee oversees public ceremonies, including the Memorial Day Parade and other ceremonies and occasions as they deem appropriate.  They also oversee and administer the Freedom Prize competition and funds, and the future engraving of additional names to the Town’s Veterans Memorial monument.

Members:

The committee consists of five persons appointed by the Town Moderator and serving terms of three years each.  Additionally, the Town’s Veterans Agent serves as an ex officio member of the committee. This committee reports annually to the Town Meeting.
