TOWN OF WAYLAND
PLANNING BOARD
 
In accordance with the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 40A, Section 5, the Wayland Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 7:10 p.m. to discuss and receive comments on the following proposed amendments to the Town’s zoning bylaw and zoning maps: (1) amend Chapter 198 of the Code of the Town of Wayland to add a new Article 27 Multi-Family Housing Overlay District (a/k/a MBTA Communities Zoning), along with associated conforming amendments, and amend the Town Zoning Overlay Districts Map to add a Multi-Family Housing Overlay District composed of several sub-districts and associated conforming amendments; and (2) amend Chapter 198 of the Code of the Town of Wayland to add Retail Self-Storage as a new commercial use allowed only in a new Sub-district B-1 in the Business B Zone and amend the Town’s Zoning Map to add a new Sub-district B-1 in the Business B Zone.
 
As authorized by Ch. 2 of the Acts of 2023, the hearing will be conducted in person at Wayland Town Hall, 41 Cochituate Road and via remote means and the public may participate through a meeting link that can be found at https://www.wayland.ma.us/public-body-meeting-informationvirtual-inperson-and-hybrid. The proposed zoning amendment materials may be viewed in the Planning Department Office at the Wayland Town Hall during normal business hours and online at https://www.wayland.ma.us/planning-department-board/pages/town-meeting-zoning-bylaws.
