RESULTS
The Town of Wayland/Wayland Public Schools, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids for Asbestos Abatement and Related Work at Loker Elementary School located at 47 Loker Street in Wayland, MA. The scope of work includes but is not limited to, the following:
· Asbestos Abatement at Loker Elementary School
Bidding procedures shall be in accordance with Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 149.
Beginning June 16, 2021 after 2:00pm, complete sets of bidding documents, including bid forms, may be electronically downloaded from the Town of Wayland website at: www.wayland.ma.us/bids by selecting “21-1025-IFB ASBESTOS ABATEMENT AND RELATED WORK AT LOKER SCHOOL.
Sealed bids for the contract will be received at the Procurement Department, 1st Floor, Wayland Town Building, 41 Cochituate Road, Wayland, MA 01778 until July 1, 2021 at 2pm. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter.
A pre-bid conference and site walk-through will be held starting at Loker Elementary School 47 Loker Street, Wayland, MA 01778 on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 3:30 PM. No preregistration is required. Contractors are invited to meet the owner representative at the main entrance.

Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this Contract.
DCAMM Certification is required for this project if Bid Price is $150,000 or greater.
5% Bid Bond is required.
The estimated cost of this project is $37,000
The Town of Wayland reserves the right to accept any bid, in whole or in part, to reject any/or all bids and to waive minor irregularities and/or informalities as it deems to be in the best interest of the Town.
