INSTALLATION OF VINYL FLOORING AT LOKER SCHOOL

21-1024-IFB

 

 

 

The Town of Wayland/Wayland Public Schools, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids for supply and installation of Vinyl Flooring at Loker Elementary School located at 47 Loker Street in Wayland, MA.  The scope of work includes but is not limited to, the following:

 

·         Vinyl tile supply, floor prep and installation (existing flooring will be removed by others).

 

Bidding procedures shall be in accordance with Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 149.

 

Beginning June 2, 2021, complete sets of bidding documents, including bid forms, may be electronically downloaded from the Town of Wayland website at: www.wayland.ma.us/bids by selecting “21-1024 IFB INSTALLATION OF VINYL FLOORING AT LOKER SCHOOL.

 

Sealed bids for the contract will be received at the Procurement Department, 1st Floor, Wayland Town Building, 41 Cochituate Road, Wayland, MA  01778 until June 17, 2021 at 2pm.  All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter.       

 A pre-bid conference and site walk-through will be held starting at Wayland Middle School 201 Main Street, Wayland, MA 01778 on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 3:00 PM.  No preregistration is required. Contractors are invited to meet the owner representative at the main entrance.

 

Any questions about this IFB should be directed in writing to John Bugbee, Assistant Town Administrator at 41 Cochituate Road Wayland, MA 01778 or by email to:  jbugbee@wayland.ma.us.  All questions are to be received no later than 11:00 AM on June 14, 2021.

Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this Contract.

DCAMM Certification is required for this project if Bid Price is $150,000 or greater.

5% Bid Bond is required.

The estimated cost of this project is $28,000

 

The Town of Wayland reserves the right to accept any bid, in whole or in part, to reject any/or all bids and to waive minor irregularities and/or informalities as it deems to be in the best interest of the Town.
