LEGAL NOTICE TOWN OF WAYLAND INVITATION FOR BIDS
DRAINAGE  REPAIRS 22-2020-IFB

Sealed Bids for DRAINAGE  REPAIRS will be received at the Town Manager's Office, 1st Floor, Wayland 
Town Building, 41 Cochituate Road, Wayland,  MA 01778 until 10:00 AM, July 21, 2022, immediately 
after which the bids will be opened and read publicly.   The estimated value of the Contract is 
$500,000 with an add alternate for $65,000.  The Contract shall commence upon Notice to Proceed.

The work of this three year contract  is for the drainage of three locations with an add alternate 
of a fourth location.  Permits, licenses, equipment, labor, supplies required to conduct the work 
are the responsibility of the Contractor.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held for this project. There are two date options, either on 
Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 10:00 AM (Pod Meadow) or on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 10:00 AM (Pod 
Meadow). All questions to be emailed to Mark Maclean, Town Engineer at mmaclean@wayland.ma.us.

Bid documents will be available, free of charge, on or after 10:30 AM on June 23, 2022 and may be 
electronically downloaded  from the Town of Wayland website at www.wayland.ma.us/bids by 
selecting "22-2020-IFB  Drainage Repairs" or may be obtained at the Town  Manager's Office.

This Bid is subject to provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 30, Section 39M, as amended to date. 
Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Rates apply to some aspects of this Contract.
The Town of Wayland  reserves the right  to accept any bid, in whole or in part, to reject any/or 
all bids and to waive minor irregularities and/or informalities as it deems to be in the best  
interest of the Town.
