WAYLAND ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS STUDENT STORAGE
22-1078-IFB
The Town of Wayland, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids for WAYLAND ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS STUDENT STORAGE, located in Wayland, Massachusetts at 40 Adams Lane, 63 Pequot road, and 47 Loker Street. The scope of work includes but is not limited to, the following:
- Demolition and removal of existing hooks and racks.
- Furnish and install new storage units, including fabrication and installation of locker base.
- Retrofitting of existing built in lockers.
Bidding procedures shall be in accordance with Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 149, as amended to date.
Beginning September 22, 2021, complete sets of bidding documents, including bid forms, may be electronically downloaded from the Town of Wayland website at: www.wayland.ma.us/bids by selecting “22-1078-IFB WAYLAND ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS STUDENT STORAGE
Sealed bids for the contract will be received at the Procurement Department, 1st Floor, Wayland Town Building, 41 Cochituate Road, Wayland, MA 01778 until October 13, 2021 at 2:30pm. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter.
A pre-bid conference and site walk-through will be held beginning at Claypit Hill Elementary School, 40 Adams Lane, Wayland, MA 01778 on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 3:00 PM. No preregistration is required.

Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this Contract.
DCAMM certification required if bid is greater than $150,000
The estimated cost of this project is $150,000
CLARIFICATION: Site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, October 6th
The Town of Wayland reserves the right to accept any bid, in whole or in part, to reject any/or all bids and to waive minor irregularities and/or informalities as it deems to be in the best interest of the Town.
