The Town of Wayland/Wayland Public Schools, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids for supply and installation of Student Lockers at Wayland Middle School located at 201 Main Street in Wayland, MA.  The scope of work includes but is not limited to, the following:

 Removal of existing student lockers, supply and install new student lockers.

Bidding procedures shall be in accordance with Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 149.

Beginning May 20, 2022, complete sets of bidding documents, including bid forms, may be electronically downloaded from the Town of Wayland website at: www.wayland.ma.us/bids by selecting “22-1042-IFB INSTALLATION OF STUDENT LOCKERS AT WAYLAND MIDDLE SCHOOL.

Sealed bids for the contract will be received at the Procurement Department, 1st Floor, Wayland Town Building, 41 Cochituate Road, Wayland, MA  01778 until June 3, 2022 at 11:00am.  All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter.      

A pre-bid conference and site walk-through will be held starting at Wayland Middle School 201 Main Street, Wayland, MA 01778 at 3:00pm on May 25, 2022.  No preregistration is required. Contractors are invited to meet the owner representative at the main entrance.

Any questions about this IFB should be directed in writing to John Bugbee, Assistant Town Administrator at 41 Cochituate Road Wayland, MA 01778 or by email to:  jbugbee@wayland.ma.us.  All questions are to be received no later than May 31, 2022 at 2:00pm.

Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this Contract.

DCAMM Certification is required for this project if Bid Price is $150,000 or greater.

5% Bid Bond is required.

The estimated cost of this project is $230,000

The Town of Wayland reserves the right to accept any bid, in whole or in part, to reject any/or all bids and to waive minor irregularities and/or informalities as it deems to be in the best interest of the Town.
