CMG Public Involvement Plan Public Meeting

The Town of Wayland plans to redevelop the “Municipal Parcel” at the Wayland Town Center (368 Boston Post Road and 4, 10, & 14 Andrew Avenue) for use as a Community Center. This property is a portion of the former Raytheon Company property, to which the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has issued several release tracking numbers (RTNs), primarily 3-13302.

CMG Environmental, Inc. (CMG) has prepared a draft Release Abatement Measure (RAM) Plan for construction-related activities associated with redevelopment of the Municipal Parcel property. RTN 3-13302 is a designated Public Involvement Plan (PIP) site. The PIP for RTN-13302 specifies that RAM Plans for any portion of the ‘disposal site’ are to be first presented in draft form to the interested community in a public meeting. CMG will address any questions asked at this meeting and solicit public commentary for the following 30 days (i.e., through 12/17/22). CMG has also provided a written copy of our draft RAM Plan to the public repository located at the Wayland Town Clerk office (41 Cochituate Road, Wayland MA 01778). Please provide comments via email to BGould@CMGenv.com or in writing addressed to the undersigned at the letterhead address. We will review these comments and respond to these in writing (to all commenters) after December 18, 2022.
