Conflict of Interest & Ethics

All staff are required to complete mandated employee training modules.  The modules are below:

Summary of the Conflict of Interest Law for Municipal Employees:  "This summary of the conflict of interest law, General Laws chapter 268A, is intended to help municipal employees understand how that law applies to them..."

Verification of Receipt Form:  This form must be filled out and submitted to the Town Clerk on an annual basis.

Notice to All Municipal Employees:  The following is important information from the State Ethics Commission on the conflict of interest law education and training requirements for municipal employees.  You are a municipal employee required to acknowledge receipt of the summary of the law and complete the online training program for municipal employees if any of the following is true...

State Ethics Reform Law:  To be completed every two years.  This module consists of 25 scenarios.  For each, the reader must select the correct response to a question by applying a portion of the law to the scenario.  If you select an incorrect response, you are given additional opportunities to select the correct one.  At the end of this module, you must print the online "State Ethics Commission" receipt and submit it to your Supervisor.
