INVITATION FOR BIDS   LOKER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL KITCHEN RENOVATIONS

 

Sealed Bids for the LOKER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL KITCHEN RENOVATIONS, in Wayland, Massachusetts, will be received at the Facilities Department, 2nd Floor, Wayland Town Building, and 41 Cochituate Road, Wayland, MA 01778 until 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 19, 2018, immediately after which the bids will be opened and read publicly.  

Filed Sub-bids: On File (included in Bid Documents) – DCAMM Certification Categories: Plumbing, Mechanical and Electrical respectively.

Copies of the Bid Documents will be available for no cost on or after 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 5, 2018 and may be electronically downloaded from the Town of Wayland website at www.wayland.ma.us/bids by selecting “19-1016-IFB Loker Kitchen Renovations” or may be obtained at the Facilities Department, 2nd Floor, Wayland Town Building, 41 Cochituate Road, Wayland, MA  01778.

Bid Deposit:                Bid bond, cash, or certified or Treasurer’s check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the value of the total bid.

Surety Bonds:             Labor & Materials Payment Bond and Performance Bond – Each One hundred percent (100%) of the value of the total bid, and Insurance Coverage are required at the time of award.

DCAMM Certification:   Category:  General Building Construction is required.

This Bid is subject to provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 149, §§ 44A – 44J, as amended to date.

Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this Contract.

Site Visits will be by reservation only, contact Ben Keefe at 508-358-3786 to arrange for visit.  It is strongly encouraged that all prospective bidders visit the site.

This Invitation for Bids is in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 149.

The Town of Wayland reserves the right to accept any bid, in whole or in part, to reject any/or all bids and to waive minor irregularities and/or informalities as it deems to be in the best interest of the Town.
