Bid 22-1036 Stone's Bridge Rehabiliation Results


The Town of Wayland, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids for STONE’S BRIDGE STABILIZATION, located in Wayland, Massachusetts on Old Stonebridge Road.  The scope of work includes but is not limited to, the following:

  • Rehabilitation and restoration of a dry masonry stone four arch bridge.
  • Stone’s Bridge is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places.
  • Work shall be performed in accordance with Wayland Conservation Commission and United States Corps of Engineers Permits and Order of Conditions

Bidding procedures shall be in accordance with Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 30 §39M, as amended to date.

Beginning April 14, 2022 at 2:00 PM, complete sets of bidding documents, including bid forms, may be electronically downloaded from the Town of Wayland website at: www.wayland.ma.us/bids by selecting “22-1036-IFB STONE’S BRIDGE REHABILITATION

Sealed bids for the contract will be received at the Procurement Department, 1st Floor, Wayland Town Building, 41 Cochituate Road, Wayland, MA  01778 until May 13, 2022 11:00am.  All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter.       

A pre-bid conference and site walk-through will be held at Stone’s Bridge on Old Stonebridge Road, Wayland, MA 01778 on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 10:00 AM.  No preregistration is required.

Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this Contract.

The estimated cost of this project is $500,000

The Town of Wayland reserves the right to accept any bid, in whole or in part, to reject any/or all bids and to waive minor irregularities and/or informalities as it deems to be in the best interest of the Town.
