How Do I... Schedule a Wiring Inspection

To schedule a wiring inspection please follow these steps.

1. Call Wiring Inspector, during regular business hours at (508) 358-3605.
2. On the voicemail please give the following:
   1. Leave your name
   2. Address of inspection
   3. Type of inspection
   4. Date you want inspection to be on

Your inspection will be performed on Monday, Wednesday or Friday of that week.

If your inspection passes, the inspector will sign off in the appropriate location on the back of the job card, and you may proceed to the next phase of work.

If no signature appears on the back of the job card for the scheduled inspection, please use the information below to contact the inspector.

Electrical Permits:

• Electricians only, email request ONE TIME to: electric-permit@wayland.ma.us and please provide:
  • Street Address
  • Your electricians licence number
  • Work to be inspected
• Following your email request, staff will confirm a date and time as soon as possible during normal business hours MON-WED-FRI
