Narcan (naloxone) is available at the Health Department free of charge when the Town Building is open because the Health Department is part of the Community Naloxone Program (CNP). The goal of the CNP is to prevent death from opioid overdose by increasing distribution of free naloxone to community bystanders across Massachusetts. The public is encouraged to attend free public training sessions and/or drop by to pick up Narcan anytime we are open, no questions asked. Read the Substance Use Recovery Resources below for additional information. Please reach out with questions or to schedule a group training and delivery of free Narcan to your community group or club. Call us at (508) 358-3617 for or email MSchuckel@Wayland.MA.US for more information or to schedule a meeting.
