The Town of Wayland, Massachusetts, acting by and through its School Committee, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from qualified firms for the provision of School and Extra-curricular Bus Transportation.  A three-year contract will be awarded, subject to annual appropriation.   Subject to Annual Town Meeting approval there may be an option for two additional one-year renewals.

Sealed bids will be received at the Office of the Superintendent, 2nd Floor, Wayland Town Building, 41 Cochituate Road, Wayland, MA 01778 until 12:00 noon, August 21, 2020.

Copies of the Invitation For Bids will be available for no cost on or after 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 9, 2020 and may be electronically downloaded from the Town of Wayland website at www.wayland.ma.us/bids by selecting “21-1003-IFB School Bus Transportation” or may be obtained by contacting the Procurement Office at 508-358-6821.  The attention of all respondents is directed to the provisions of the contract documents.

This Invitation For Bids is in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30B.

The Town of Wayland reserves the right to accept any bid, in whole or in part, to reject any or all bids and to waive minor irregularities and/or informalities as it deems to be in the best interest of the Town.
